Home Alone: my story

Most of you have seen a Home Alone movie where a boy named Kevin Mcallister gets accidentally left behind at home when his family goes to Paris. He defends his home from two burglars who attempt to break into his home. Now I'm going to tell you my story if I was in this boy's position. The  story would take place in London, instead of Chicago.
Summary: I get left home alone because my dad is away on business, my mum and my sisters are out of town to see my uncle and his family. I'm left at home alone because I have homework to do and have to deal with two burglars who attempt to break into my house.

Now my story begins. I'm sitting in my room which  I share with my eldest sister Khamael. She enters.
"What are you doing?''she asked.
Nothing,''I replied, closing my laptop.
''Don't you have homework to catch up on?''
''Well yeah, I do but it is not due till Monday, so I'm taking a break now.''
''Oh okay. By the way, Mama,Ghadeer and I are going to Surrey to visit Uncle Hasan and his family, want to come?''
''Sorry can't, I've got lots of homework to do.''
''It's okay, I understand. I'm glad that you are using your time efficiently, Huda. But are you sure you will be fine by yourself?''
"Don't worry, I'll be fine, I know what to do.''
Khamael smiled and hugged me and went to tell Mama what I told her.
''I'm worried about Huda. It's not that I don't trust her,'' I heared Mama say, ''it's just that we might live in a not so safe neighbourhood in Notting Hills. I'm worried something bad might happen to Huda.''
Don't worry Mama,'' Ghadeer said,''Huda will be fine, she's very brave.''
I smiled at what Ghadeer said. Mama, Khamael and Ghadeer got ready to leave. Mama gave me safety rules such as not answering the phone and door to strangers and calling them if I needed anything or if anything happens.
I waved them goodbye and went to my room and did my homework.
The next hour after I finished my Maths homework I decided to go make myself some chocolate milkshake when suddenly I heard a noise.
What was that?I wondered. I decided that it wouldn't hurt to go investigate a bit so I decided to peak through the curtains. I gasped. I saw two men with crowbars. One was short and bald and the other was tall and blond. They were going to break into our house.
''Which way do we go?''asked the blond guy.
''Through the back door.''
I ran quietly to my room, hid in my closet and put a Hijab on my head in case those guys make it into to my room.
''I've heard that this family is Muslim. Most muslims are loaded.'' the short guy said.
''Really, Harry, they're muslim. I've never met a muslim in my life.''
''Look, Mark, who cares let's just rob this house and get out of here.''
Oh no, they know about our religion. I thought about what I heard of them say. I recognise one of them, the short guy named Harry. He was the the police officer who checked into our house last night, he was talking to Mama about our security system. I shouldn've known this was going to happen. I took out my cell phone and and called 999. I told the operator everything about what happened. How the burglars looked like, where I am now, our address and the burglar's names. I kept on line, so if Harry and Mark make it into my room, find me and threaten me, the police will hear what is going on.
''There is a muslim girl named Huda in this room. They've left her home alone because she has homework to do.'' Harry said.Oh no, they know that I am home alone. I'm screwed now.
An idea struck me. I took out a pocket knife from the closet.
The door burst open.
''Aha, there she is, she is wearing a head scarf.''
I stabbed them with the knife . Then the police arrived and arrested the criminals.
Mama called, Khamael, Ghadeer, and even Uncle Hasan and his family called. They've heard about what I have done. The police told them everything. They told me how brave I was and that they were proud of me. Enough said.

The Ka'ba

The ka'ba is the house of Allah.
I can see lots of people wearing Ihram clothes. Inside the ka'ba, there's a sacred mosque where all people pray. In front of me, I can see a big black square whenever I pray. That's called the ka'ba. I can also see a gold thing called Maqam Ibrahim where I can see the footprints of Prophet Ibrahim. And a white circle called Hijir Ismail. In the Hijir Ismail, I can see some of the people praying there and I can also 'The Hajar Al Aswad'. We couldn't reach it because there were a lot of people so we couldn't squeeze through the crowd. Always around the ka'ba I can see a crowd doing Twaf.

I can hear people saying the takbirat Al Hajj and I can hear people praying and reading quran.

I can smell the perfume of the ka'ba and also the perfume of the Hajar Al Aswad. We have these perfumes.

My feelings towards the ka'ba is I feel like it's a dream and I also felt incredulous when I saw it. It was like I imagined it. I also felt very excited because I saw it on television and now it's right in front of me.

I touched the ka'ba for the first time and I couldn't believe it! After I touched it I looked at my hands and said to myself,''Oh my god, I can't believe I touched the ka'ba. First time in my life.''

Hijab

Once upon a time there was a girl called Batool who was only 8 years old and she was turning 9 in June.
One day Batool was reading a book about a girl who has already worn hijab. Her birthday was next month. She was wondering what change would be in her and wishes she wanted to make. Her mom told her,
''Batool, you'll be turning 9 next month and we will not just have a birthday party but a Takleef party and you'll be wearing hijab. Now  what I want you to do is write invitations then give them to all of your muslim friends. They will be lots of presents for you and surprises.  While you go to your friend's house, I am going to take a trip to the store to buy some party supplies.''
The next day at school, Batool gave the invitations to all of her friends. She had 8 friends and only 7 of them wore hijab but there was one without hijab. Their names were; Zahra, Noor, Huda, Nada, Aminah, Fatima, Maryam and the one without hijab was Samira. They looked at their invitation then at Batool. They were captivated because they'd never been to a Takleef party before.
''Wow, I can't wait to see you wear hijab after your Takleef party, I wonder how you'll look like with the hijab,'' said her best friend, Aminah.
''I'd never wore hijab in my whole life, prayed, been to the mosque or fasted every day in Ramadan,'' said Batool.
''Then you'll have to wear hijab everywhere, even when they are visitors at your house, who are men,'' declared Huda.
''You'll have to go to Friday prayers every week in the mosque,'' said Maryam.
''And fast everyday in Ramadan, it's wajib,'' added Fatima.
The bell rang. '' Got to go, see you after school,'' declared Noor.

Six hours later, after school Batool's mom was at the gate. So Batool and her friends went in the car.
Batool's mom  dropped them at Aminah's house and then she headed to the store to get some party supplies for Batool's Takleef party.
The girls had so much fun at Aminah's house. They ate popcorn and watched a movie called 'The Secret Life of Animals', listened to Anasheed and played hide and seek.
An hour later, Batool's mom was at the door so Batool had to go home and help her mom get everything ready. She cleaned the house, setted the table and hung up the balloons.
There was a knock at the door. Batool went to get it, it was Aminah and her mom. She was holding a present shaped like a jewel box. She gave it to Batool but she didn't get a chance to thank her so she decided to thank her later after she opens her presents.
Ten minutes later, Batool's friends were all there so the party was ready to begin. Batool's mom played the Anasheed on the tape. Everyone, including Batool began to dance like crazy. Suddenly, they were all starving so they went to the table. At the table there was a chocolate and in the whipped cream it said 'Happy Birthday and Takleef Batool' there was a pack of chocolate chip cookies, a pack of chips and 9 party hats.
Everyone got a slice of cake and wore their party hats. Everyone ate everything so there was only a few food left and there were crumbs lying on the floor everywhere.
Five minutes later, it was Batool's present opening session so she unwrapped the presents.
Aminah got her a watch, Maryam ,a princess doll, who also wore hijab, Samira, a hijabish red shirt, Noor, a Quran book, Huda, a white hijab, Nada, a prayer mat, Fatima, a duaa book and Zahra an abaya.
Batool thanked them all and said,''You're my best friends I ever had!''

The next day Batool wore her white hijab that Huda had given her to school. Batool's friends liked seeing Batool wear hijab. Nobody teased her the way she looks.
